Mumsie Chu: CSM CNY DECOR

The clinic nurses....no Chinese cos most of them are already off...See the balloons in the mandrin orange vase...They are specially prepared for the children who comes into the clinic....Gotta prepared quite a few....quite a lot of patients brought along their little ones..

The boxes are not decor but awaiting Azlan to bring them to the store...

This pussy willow has 'blossomed' beautifully..See the 'budding white buds...they are a 'healthy green' Mumsie was a bit worried that this year they might not bloom..Every year mumsie soaked them into water...but this is the first time mumsie tried planting them in soil...Everyday mumsie was watching it and complanining to Miss Wong (clinic incharge nurse) that maybe mumsie had made a mistake cos earlier on the plant doesn't seem to grow at all (Feng Sui had it that you must not buy the plant with 'budding' buds or growing leaves...it must only bloom after you had it....can't cheat) So for the past week mumsie was busy watering it with ice and water and WA LAH LAH Look at it now...each and every branch has blossomed!!! Quote from Miss Wong....'must be Good Feng Sui!!!'

Not only the balloons were popular with the children the madrin oranges too disappear quick...Patients's husbands seem to like Good Fortune too

Each year mumse put up this decor but with different style

The bananas pineapples Fatt Kow (red cake) are supposed to be in there for 15 days...so it must last....

See the pussy willow compared to the above one...no signs of it growing at all....According to Feng Sui the more it blossoms the more FATT!!!!!

Mumse got this pair of wordings from Shanghai..

Was not so sure what it means when mumsie saw it but 'agak-agak' KNOWS that it means goooooooood !!!

Mumse got all these from Shanghai too...Fell in love with the BIG MYSTICAL KNOT when mumsie first saw them...Dadda and the family made quite a big protest when mumsie wanted to buy them...SO BIG NOT EAST TO LUG AROUND and NO place to put them blah blah blah....but mumsie insisted on getting them...so VERY VERY CHEAP....saw some smaller versions in S'pore but selling for S$25 Mumsie got it for M$5/

The nurses told mumsie that some husbands took photos of them and were curious to know what mumsie did to make them 'blossom' so very well...See the leaves growing from every branch...Each and every year they do very well for mumsie.

These red flowers represent the 'red pappers ' on the floor after firing the fire crackers...Not allowed to light fire crackers...so the red flowers..

Not much place in the clinic to put a big pot so a baby pot looks OK

With the help of Azlan mumsie was able to put all these up...NO SWEAT at all..The red balls are actually Christmas decor but got them at 70% discount after Christmas during the after Christmas Sales...

Mumsie believes that each and every CNY card carries good messages...so each and every one is hung up properly every year...no putting into drawers or waste paper baskets..so that the messages will 'shower' on us all!!!

Mumsie used red cloth last year but this year mumsie tried this...the 'flimsy hangers ' are actually chinese writings...Each line carries a different word...IT say 'KOONG SEE FATT CHAI'
