MUMSIE'S VALENTINE'S DAY

After about 30 years of marriage....and much much 'hinting' and 'moaning' (sigh) mumsie finally got the 'message' thru!!!! My Valentine finally started to 'celebrate' valentine....Believe it not it took him 30 years....Dadda used to say that there's no such thing as `Valentine's Day'..It is for the comercial people to make money..blah blah blah...It really took a lot of hard work and mumsie (sob sob) finally (and with a lot of praying too) got her wish...Dadda finally started to celebrate `VALENETINE'S DAY' last year.

Dadda took mumsie out for Valentine's Day Lunch!!!!!! (Got night clinic so gotta be lunch) See the menu....if mumsie knew this was coming mumsie would skip last night's dinner and this morning's b'fast....

First came the 3 combination

Then the shark's fin soup (Sorry Linny mumsie knows that we shouldn't kill shark for their fins...) See the fins on the spoon...???

This pan fried garlic lamb chop with the onion rings is yummy!!

This is the crispy fried sea cucumber...the green log is boiled spinach 'clumb' together to make them looks like log of wood....I think

This baked cod with grapes is yummy yummy too.

When this steamed wax meat rice came out mumsie is really full....it taste nice but mumsie couldn't finish it...(for someone who has been skipping lunch for the past few months...this lunch is really 'heaaaavvyyyy') Wonder if mumse dares to stand on the scale tomorrow....?????

Finally the double boiled fresh pear....Not too sweet. Mumsie thinks that it will taste better if it is hot...This is served cold...maybe with a tiny bit of hot custard......
