On 28th June'07 Dadda and mumsie flew to KL to attend a one day video workshop....one full day from 9am to 5 pm...(Mumsie thought that she can sneak out after an hour's attendance...to shop (Malaysia's mega sale just started but the course was so informative that mumsie stayed till finish...three cheers for mumsie)
It started right on time 9am sharp ..with basic operation of videocamcorder...SETUP; CARE & MAINTENANCE. Then an introduction to Digital Videography ..Followed hy The advance features & Function of videocamcorder...(This part mumsie's eyes need toothpick to keep them open)
This is our "teacher'...who used to work in Australia for almost 10 yrs..He is goooood...he knows his stuff
The "attentive" class..the couple behind us flew in from Penang! Surprisingly the class is made up of the very young and the "not so old" like dadda and mumsie....and of course they are some who wants to make video recording their profession....(you will meet them at weddings....etc ect)

At long last they gave us some time to "explore our own videocamcorder...so we were told to go out on to the streets to "shoot" and then return to "show off" to the class our masterpieces!!!! But mumsie got straight out to look for "tea-break" makan stalls...This goreng pisang and ubi kayu stall was not bad...
So whilst dadda is busy shooting mumsie was busy eating......

Lunch time...believe it or not they even provide us with lunch....(I suppose if they allow us to go out for lunch some of us will take hrs to return)

Not only we were taught the ART of Videography (panning / zooming/ tiltling / creative shooting) we also learn downloading: organizing & perform basic video editing to creat & share a DVD/ Mini DV . So all in all it was money well spent...When mumsie's "little ones" were little we were bz bz...ferrying them to tuition, piano classes, swimming classes, computer classes ect ect ect ect... So no time for theses types of activities...now is different...NEXT WILL BE BALL-ROOM DANCING!!!!Any way..mumsie and dadda will be away to Rome for 10 days..from 16th July and hopefully we will be able to show off some of our new learnt 'master pieces' in the near future!!!
