"MAY THE FORCE BE WITH DADDA"

Look what dadda got for his birthday!!!!!!!! Look at the excitment on his face!!!!! Ya he
managed to "get his message thru to Catherine....

" A Luke Skywalker Force FX LightSaber Collectible"
So very like him....to ask for something like this....coooool guy
As it was described on the box..this is an official replica of Luke's Lightsabe from Star Wars.
Glowing, bright blue blade ignites with realistic power-up and power-down light effects.
This isn't a toy...This is an official reproduction of real Lightsabers from Star Wars. Comes with a custom-designed display stand when you need a break from dueling.
This is the box that transported it to our house...

Featuring realistic lighting and sound effects, these close combat weapons of the Jedi and Sith from the Star Wars saga are absolutely amazing features include:
Glowing blades ignites with realistic power up/down effects!
Here comes the good bit: once activated, the blade glows brightly and the Force FX reverberates with digitally recorded sound effects taken directly from the film, including power-up , idle hum, swing clash and power-down.

I suppose the fantasy of transforming into a Jedi Knight becomes complete when dadda holds this "thingi" and when the power-up switch triggers the distinctive "sanp- hiss" sound from the base of the handle he "is out of this world"
..Even Danny is facinated....
This 'thingi" is without doubt, the greatest pretend weapon in the entire sci-fi universe.
And here is dadda, pshooing, vhzzhing, wuhmming
And there isn't a Star Wars Fan alive who hasn't fantassised about wielding one in all its glowing, pshwooing, vhzzhhing, wuhmming glory.
And when Celine asked why "only one" should have bought 2 of these so that Dadda can "combat" with her (I supposed) Cat said she can only afford to buy one....Gosh these things must have cost a BOMB!
Another ? birthday present from South Africa....Springbok (antelope) We smuggled this in from South Africa...supposed to get a "certificate" to get this thing out of the country and then an "import" licence...or somthing likethat to get into Malaysia..
But we don't have enough time to do the "proper way"...
The springbok was a national symbol of South Africa under white minority rule. It was adopted as a nickname or mascot by some South African sports teams, ....most famously by the national ruby union team. It appeared on the emblems of the South African Air Force. the logo of South African Airways...ect ect...
And this is Ferbie....Celine's B'day present a few years back...
AND MEET "Muachi" Daniel's b'day present for
dadda....."Muachi " is Japanese dessert (the ones with peanut stuffing that we buy in the street...)
She is a 2 month old sitzu..... much more intellent than Ferbie....mumsie will never be able to take any photo offFerbiec cos she thinks the camera is a gun....the minute you point the camera at her she runs....But not Muachi....she 'poses' for mumsie....
She can do quite a bit of tricks....like here she is told to sit.....
then lie down CUTE...isn't she...and very clever toooooooooooooooooo
Mumsie would lke to show her doing the "fetching" trick....but camera runs out of memory....maybe next time.
Well we didn't manage to get dadda a cake for his birthday.this year.....but don't think he minds......
