IS IT A MIRACLE?

Mumsie should have written this letter to the church in Ipon (Mother of Perpectual Help Ipoh Garden) years ago!!! But just didn't get down to doing it...wonder why???? May be I should send them a copy of this blog.. It can be my 'testimonial thingi' and it can also be a 'thanks-giving letter' to be shared with others.

This incidence happens a few years ago...when suddenly mumsie got a phone call in broad day light from mumsie's family (They never ring in the day time...cos mumsie is working working working!!! so when mumsie got called in the day means 'emergency') Being in medical line for sooooooo long the family treats mumsie a 'specialist' in everything..well it was to inform mumsie that one of mumsie's sister had some kind of 'breathlessness' twice the night before..well the advice is 'check it out-do a medical ' and Sister Wan was later told that she had an abdominal cyst in her abdomen....not pelvis..so all arrangements were made for the removal of this cyst.

Mumsie went up to Ipoh to accompay Sister Wan for her op .That night after her op. ...something went very wrong!!!! Her blood pressure was very low....and she was too 'sleepy' so mumsie demanded the nurse to call the Doc in charge.....2.00 am in the morning so mumsie had to threaten the nurse a bit. And when the Dr came he agreed that something WAS wrong so after some X-rays ect.. the Anaesthetist and Cardiologist were also called....it was an emergency cos Sister Wan's heart (3/4 of it) is collapsing in fact they had to put her on to a respirator !!! Mumsie had to call up the rest of the siblings...as Sister gotta be sent to ICU and also to inform everybody that she was being put on the 'DANGEROUSLY ILL LIST' For the next 9 days it was bad cos Sister Wan's Blood pressure kept on falling and Drs didn't know what was wrong...in fact immediately after the op mumsie was informed by the surgeon who did the op that everthing was very successful...mumsie was told that Sister Wan could be discharged in a day or 2. ...IT was really bad we were even told that even if Sister Wan pulls through she might not be able to walk again or do 'normal things' again cos 3/4 of her heart is DEAD!!! All of the other siblings held an emergency meeting....house may need renovation cos she must not climb stairs...she needed to be wheeled around blah ..blah..blah Mumsie remember seeing mumsie's mother kneeling down infront of Sister Wan's Dr. begging him to save her life.. Nothing can be done....the Dr kept on saying...I suppose this is when ONE TURN TO DIVINE HELP...
Mumsie and another sister run to the nearest Church...ie the church in Ipoh Garden and really prayed prayed prayed prayed (Meanwhile mumsie also 'storm heaven' with not only prayers but also rope in a lot of 'holy' friends to pray for Sister Wan) Pray for a miracle...that's what mumsie told everybody...Mumsie even SCOLDED the 'FELLA' up there...for doing such thing to mumsie's mother!!! Don't think she can take it if something is to happen to Sister Wan!!!
Just when we were about to 'air-lift' Sister Wan to KL'S heart centre...we were told that the cyst that was removed from Sister Wan -even though is not malignant has caused the heart to collapse cos during the removal...with all the handling , it releases some chemical that caused the heart to collapse so now we had to find the antedote.. quick...and that was the ANSWER once the antedote was found Sister Wan was taken off the respirator and after being 'DEAD' for 10 days...she came back to life again!!! Mumsie asked the cardiologist...3/4 of the heart is dead.. .what next??? But after conducting a few tests...Sister Wan is as good as new...no more heart problem...(in fact she should be healthier than Mumsie cos even the 'angiogram' showed normal)
The cardiologist told mumsie...'called it a miracle'
See you know now why mumsie goes to church daily not only to say THANK YOU but to continue praying for MIRACLES!!!

I remember this. It was shortly after my own mum passed away and I was staying at Mumsie Chu's place that time. It was really scary and sad cos it would really crashed me to handle another death in the family. I can't help thinking that if my mum had someone as experienced as Mumsie Chu, perhaps she could've been saved before it was too late. Or if I had prayed more (or even prayed at all) maybe a miracle would have happened. OMG! Mumsie Chu's blog ALWAYS brought tears to my eyes!
